My students love to create and write each day. Whether its a creative story or informative research piece, my young scholars thrive on sharing their ideas, creativity, and knowledge in written form. The new classroom printer will enhance all that. By having a printer in class that serves the students, they will be able to take advantage of the tool to print their own work. It will be so wonderful when they are able to type out and print their wonderful writing to share and display around our classroom. They love hearing positive feedback and constructive criticism from their peers.
My kinder students are taking their first steps as curious engineers and scientists. The Dot and Dash robot and microscope open up the world of science and engineering to my students. The robot is a kid-friendly way for the students to get to develop basic coding skills. They are excited to use technology each day. But this allows them to actually create, rather than just consume. They develop a coder's mind to see patterns that will empower them down the road. The handheld microscope enables them to see that there is an entire universe that is too small to see with the naked eye. Suddenly the entire classroom takes on a new feeling of excitement when they want to look at everything from seeds, to leaves, to dust, to hair under the powerful lens.
