Play is an important part of children's lives at home and in school. I will always advocate for the inclusion of games in the classroom. While I do have a supply of virtual games my inventory is low now that students are in person and want to have the hands-on experience. The games included in this project will give students the opportunity to think outside of the box while taking a break from curricular content.
Part of my enjoyment in school were brain breaks where I could use my skills to think outside the box! I loved some of the very games that are included in this project. It made me excited for learning and I can see the same excitement already exists in my class.
My hope is this project will help students fall back in love with face-to-face learning. There is a lot going on right now, and I don't want school to feel like a chore or some kind of burden. These games will give the children the chance to be children.
