"In the end, we'll all become stories." - Margaret Atwood. The books I have selected will be of incredible interest to the diverse group of kids in my class. My hope is that these stories will speak to them and foster a love of books. They will be used for literature circles where my kids will interact in small groups with their classmates and hopefully devour these fantastic novels. James Patterson said "There is no such thing as a kid who hates reading. There are kids who love reading and kids who are reading the wrong book." Please help my kids find the right books to read so they can fall in love too.
