Our school supports the flexible seating model in our classrooms such as the wobble chairs, bean bag chairs, etc this will allow my students to chose where they sit.
Flexible seating has been proven effective in special education classrooms because it allows students to stretch out and not be confined into a desk all day long. In my classroom, when working independently my students are more focused when I allow them to sit wherever they chose. We do not have many options to choose from so most of the time they end up sitting on the ground throughout my room.
