It is so rewarding to see students reading about things that they love! Providing students with Scholastic News will allow my students to read about something they enjoy and get them excited about reading! It is a wonderful tool to increase their reading ability and comprehension. They are able to be done individually, in groups, or as a whole group, and it has follow-up activities to go along with them! Scholastic also offers videos and online follow up games that students love! The videos and games help increase their comprehension by allowing them to view more animated objects. The games test numerous skills including grammar and comprehension.
