Since COVID-19 showed up a lot has changed for our small school. Every student in our school system now has a Chromebook that has been assigned to them. In my classroom we use our computers daily for various assignments. We listen to books online, play educational games and do regular classroom assignments. In the beginning of the school year students brought their own headphones to school but most of the headphones were cheaply made and didn’t last. Some of the headphones are currently being held together with duct tape and some students do not have any headphones at all. This can make it very challenging when 18 students are trying to work individually of their assignments. Some students get distracted very easily from the noise coming from the computers.
