My school is an urban area in Miami. My students are presented with many socioeconomic challenges daily. Many of my students are not exposed to technology at home so they rely on having access at school daily. This new laptop will help to aid in instruction in my classroom. The laptop will be used for math and science instruction. My students will be able to use the laptop during our center rotations and they will need to be able to use it for each and every subject in our class. I will be able to use this laptop to teach my students their numbers, shapes, colors, and numbers. We live in a technology-driven society and I want to make sure that my students have access to a reliable laptop. If I receive this laptop, it will enhance instruction and help expose my students to a device they will need to know how to use. If the students are able to utilize technology, they will be successful in their everyday lives
