Thank you for visiting my page! I teach science to over 150 students annually at an inner-city public high school in South Central Los Angeles. At the start of each year, many students approach science with uncertainty. To combat this, I aim to inspire them to view science as a gateway to opportunities and integrate real-world problems into lessons. This shows the relevance of science in their lives and how it can be used for social justice, like combating environmental injustice in their communities. Through rigorous content, I guide students in confirming their science identities and embracing their potential for positive change.
