I have included a picture of my wonderful students. They are a great group of kids and love to learn new things. They enjoy listening to stories on cd as well as the necessary skills to become fluent readers; however, visuals and materials are limited in our classroom. I have 25 kindergarten students in my class and their is only one of me. These additional resources would be great to have and empower the students in their own learning. My school is wonderful, warm and caring; however, the funding for these supplies is just not there. If I am able to provide, with your help these additional resources I am sure that my students growth in the areas of language arts and reading skills would greatly improve. Using technology, visuals and hands on materials will help a child see how the words on the page can come alive in an expressive, fluid way.
