I have a classroom of 23, energetic, eager learners in a very low-income, urban district. My students are 95% African-American, or Latino, and 100% of them receive free breakfast and lunch. The majority of my students' only interaction with computers, Internet, and other supporting technology is in the classroom. Over my tenure as a teacher, I have observed that students learn best when they are highly engaged and have visual support.
