I have approximately 500 students, ranging from grades Pre-K to 6th grade. There is a high English as a second language population, over 65% free and reduced lunch, many are children in transition, and we also have a large amount of students with special needs in the building. This is a public school that is classified as title 1.
I have been teaching at this school for five years now and I have to say our students respect the materials that they are given and are very willing to learn. They work hard to surpass the challenges that have been placed in front of them.
