Welcome to my page! I am a first-year Second Grade teacher at Otis J. Brock, III Elementary School, which was named after Otis Brock III, a Savannah native who rose quickly to become the Savannah-Chatham County public school system's operations chief. He died unexpectedly in his office in April of 2012 and the school was named after him, in loving memory.
The students in this school come from high poverty and have little to no supplies every day. I love these children with all my heart and want nothing more than to instill as much knowledge in their brains as I can before leaving my classroom. I cannot fathom that not having the essentials should stop them from this, but it has definitely taken its toll on our classroom.
For any donation we would be forever grateful as it will help our classroom run smoother, and give us access to things we might not otherwise be able to obtain.
Thank you for thinking about us.
