These materials will make learning more attainable. When children are actively involved they are more engaged. Hands-on activities helps students achieve more. The ten frame boards are an excellent way to teach students in a whole or small group setting. When teaching teen numbers students will learn that 10 + 8 = 18 which is a teen number 18. The boards could be used in a whole group or small group setting when working with the students. This will help me know whether or not the students truly understand the problems presented to them. I feel that is will be a great teaching tool.
