As the ceramics program has expanded, I have new students with various disabilities. Some are unable to sit at a standard potter's wheel and throw. I am asking for your help in purchasing a tabletop wheel that can accommodate students with disabilities so that everyone has a chance to succeed in our new ceramics course. In addition, some of these students require the help of a classroom aide that must be able to assist as they create. The tabletop wheel gives students and their aides more space to work and move around. Although my students are excited to get started, due to various physical restrictions some are unable to work on a standard wheel that is positioned low to the ground. I know that these students deserve the same experience of learning as all the others in the class. This is why I need your help in purchasing a new potter's wheel. Thank you!
