As a Kindergarten teacher, my mission is to encourage a growth mindset, provide a strong classroom culture that focuses on respect, trust, compassion, responsibility, and provide a high-quality education. Keeping an emphasis on the importance of supporting students by educating them socially, emotionally, and cognitively to ultimately become positive leaders of tomorrow. My students come from a community that is internationally and socioeconomically diverse. Many students experience peers of different ethnicities and perspectives, which provides countless enriching experiences. As a class we strive to become positive citizens through peer collaboration, exemplifying proactive behaviors, celebrating peers' failures and successes, and developing leaders in all students.
