My students are funny and fantastic. They are sweet and kind. They work hard and they are creative. They are eager and energetic. They are smart and desperate to learn! They are multicultural and filled with stories that they have yet to uncover.
I work in a Title 1 public school as an ELL pullout teacher (Grades 2-5). Nearly 65% of our students are on free and reduced lunch and approximately 30% of the students in our school are classified as English Language Learners (ELLs).
