Hard working, honest, rambunctious, creative, loving. These are all words to describe my fantastic first graders. My school is very diverse with a mixed population. My students come from all different backgrounds with various needs, books being one of them. They LOVE to read. The other day one of my students said, "Do you know what my favorite time of the day is? Reading, I love reading!" Besides melting my heart, it made me even more aware of how they need books that are on their appropriate reading level in order to encourage successful readers and make progress!

About my class
