My kindergarten students are one of a kind! They are amazing students who love school despite the daily challenges they face within and out of the classroom. I teach in a low-income/high poverty public school in Ohio. My students represent a very diverse student population. They come from a variety of language and cultural backgrounds. Majority of my students are socioeconomically disadvantaged.
Despite the many challenges we face, I always look for creative and stimulating ways to provide my students with hands-on meaningful learning experiences. By providing my students with these experiences, they are eager to learn, they gain confidence and they develop a love for learning!
