Showing students what they feel isn't new and, better yet, was written in a way that touches their core is why I love teaching Shakespeare. Love, fear, anxiety, depression, family troubles, all of it is in Shakespeare, and even the most anti-Shakespeare student will be a convert by the end of my lesson! With the book, I'll be able to write out character plots, have students scan lines in different meter, and write journal prompts. Currently, we have no surface on which to write in our classroom. The white board would be such a gift to us, along with the textbooks. A heartfelt thanks in advance!
