Mathematics is boring and a struggle for many students. My daily goal is to find ways to make learning engaging for my students by infusing technology into my lessons. Technology is an integral part of the lives of youth today, so what better way to hook them and keep them hooked than through what they know and love. Students are allowed to use tablets and phones in class for assignments and as an incentive for increased motivation. Unfortunately, not all of my students can afford a tablet and my school is not a one-on-one computer/tablet school. This project is my way of bridging the gap for my students who do not have the means. The tablets will stay in class and will be available to students to use for their in class assignments or homework assignments they are unable to complete at home because they do not have access to technology/internet at home.
