We want to be able to utilize technology every day in our classroom. Not only can our students relate to the medium, children are highly motivated by the visual support technology can provide. We want to use the iPad as part of our day-to-day instruction and have available for student communication during groups. Our last iPad has become so dated that very few apps actually work on it anymore and has since become a listening station for books. Our class is hoping to gain a newer iPad to be able to build language, comprehension, and reading fluency.
We utilize many forms of technology in conjunction with hands-on practice and other more traditional means of learning, but when students are excited about the materials, they are easier to motivate to learn.
About my class
