I am an intervention teacher, so I teach foundational reading skills to my students. A large part of obtaining buy-in from students (resulting in sustained classroom focus and motivation) is having materials that will excite them and relate to their interests. These books will entertain students, develop their drawing and cooking skills, satiate their curiosity about crystals, and become the focus of our small-group book clubs!
The books I am requesting will be added to my classroom library for students to check out and read in class. They can read at the before/after school program, during lunch, at home; whenever they want to re-enter that world!
Before ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, I had been using my yearly budget to purchase books that I know my students will love. Help me deepen their interests and enrich their reading experiences!
