My students are fifth graders who are 98% English Language Learners and 2% native English speakers. They are students that crave motivation and want to do well in school. They come from low socioeconomic families whose parents are working hard to keep food on the table and clothes on their children's backs. 70% of my students don't have computers, and the 30% that have computers are too old to be used with the websites our Math and Language Arts programs provide. My students attend a Title I school in California that has close to 90% students on free lunch.
