My students are some of the most hardworking, thoughtful, and kind young people you’ll ever meet. They attend a Title 1 school and come from low socioeconomic backgrounds, and while many face challenges outside of the classroom, they walk through the door each day with positive attitudes and a genuine excitement to learn. Their determination and resilience inspire me daily. Even when things are tough at home, they show up—with bright smiles, big hearts, and a willingness to try. These kids deserve a learning environment that supports their needs and celebrates their strengths—and that’s what this project is all about.
