My students come from all walks of life. Our school is very fortunate to offer classes that showcase the school's diversity through heterogeneous classroom communities. We are a small suburban city and are one of only 2 middle schools that serve about 1400 students. Our class sizes are large with 30-34 students.
Our students have a great spirit. They have a true curiosity to learn and take ownership of their learning by thinking critically. Many of them take leadership roles whether that be through sports, student council or other extracurricular activities.
Many of our students crave using multimedia technology in the classroom since they are already so hands-on outside of the classroom. They love finding ways to bring their strengths into the classroom, especially if it involves being able to teach the teacher or the students something.
