Hi Everyone!
My name is Ms. Cheska and I'm a Special Education Teacher for Wisdom Elementary School here in Los Angeles. I teach the Moderate to Severe Autism Program, using the Alternate Curriculum of the Los Angeles Unified School District.
Currently, my classroom consists of all boys: most of them are in 3rd Grade while one is in 5th. I'm sure teachers say this all the time, but my students are such a joy to teach! There is never a dull moment in class, given the unique characteristics that each child holds. Also, I may be the teacher there, but I learn from my students everyday, through the experiences I get to share with them.
This may seem cliche, but my heart is filled with joy everyday for being able to do what I do, and I want nothing more than to make a difference in the lives of all my students.
Come, join me in this journey! :)
