These iPads will enable my students to participate in independent learning and small group activities. As a special education teacher, who is now experiencing distance learning with my students, I am seeing my students engage with technology that we were unable to use during the school year. With this project, I will be able to leverage the learning that we are doing now, through the next school year. This is possible since I often teach the same kids several years in a row.
iPads are a unique form of technology that allows students to participate with online learning platforms that provide individualized learning, give my students voice through the use of communication apps, watch educational videos, and take structured breaks. These iPads will bring opportunities to a classroom that does not have working technology.
