Students cannot be compared to one another; each one comes to the classroom with unique thoughts, ideas, needs, and strengths. There is no such thing as a start or finish line within a classroom because students come from various learning backgrounds. Because of this, I am obligated to ensure that learning is accessible and challenging for all students. In order to provide differentiated instruction, I will create and implement lessons that appeal to individual learning levels, as well as scaffolding based on strengths and needs within the classroom community. While I hold high expectations for all of my students, I am aware and understand that success will look different for each child.
