Hello family, friends, colleagues and supporters of my students, welcome to my "Donors Choose" page. I am very excited about the prospect of an extended library for my students. Most of the students in my classroom are reading below grade level. They lack the experiences, and materials needed to compete with peers at their academic, social and emotion level. With more books, students will be allowed to select their own reading materials and read independently in an effort to improve reading stamina, comprehension, while fostering a love for reading. If my students are exposed to a wide variety of reading materials and genres, students' reading, comprehension and love for reading will grow. Your donations to our class library will improve my students reading stamina, comprehension, and a love for reading. Only you can help to do that. My students are depending on you, to help build their library. Thank you very much.
