Students will be required to attend a college fair for KIPP high school juniors where they will learn about the many different college options available to them. After the college fair, students will be broken up into groups in order to create a presentation that demonstrates what they learned about the colleges.
This will not only benefit my students, but will benefit our whole school community as the information will be shared with younger students who will also see college as a viable option.
The tri-fold presentation boards will allow students to take the information they learned at the college fair and present their knowledge in a clear and professional manner.
My students will use the business cards to present themselves in a professional way to both the college representatives in attendance at the college fair and the students who come to our classroom for the student presentations.
