My 4th grade students are eager learners. They are life loving and very sweet. My school is located in a rural farming community. The majority of my students come from families that work in the fields and English is their second language. All of my students receive 100% free lunch and the majority live poverty. 30% of my students are reading below grade level. Despite having many obstacles they love coming to school and are enthusiastic to learn and grow in reading and mathematics.
