Hello! My name is Ms. Arrowsmith. I teach in a very diverse urban school in Pennsylvania with a high poverty rate. My students are K- 8th graders who are bursting with energy and who need the creative outlet to release that energy in a positive way. Art gives them that outlet, along with the opportunity to create and problem-solve. My students take great pride in their work, and love to see it decorating the hallways. I am constantly amazed at the talent of my students. They are truly inspiring, gifted young people, and I hate to see their talents held back by the lack of art supplies at their fingertips.
