I first came across these blocks when I taught overseas. The children showed me how they made everything from houses to cars, people to grocer stores and everything in between. Children are able to manipulate the blocks and experiment with cause and effect, trial and error, and motion. I want my children to use the processes of play, reflection and investigation to solve problems and transfer knowledge from one setting to another. These blocks are just one way in which my children can learn new processes in learning and skills.
