Please support my efforts to encourage and inspire my first grade students. Our community, like so many others today, faces economic hardship and diminishing resources. We truly appreciate any and all support to help enrich the lives of our students. Our school and staff work together with the community to build partnerships and promote family involvement. In addition to the past seven years teaching first grade, I coordinate our before, after and summer school programs. Unfortunately, we have not been granted federal funding for the past two years. We continually face losing these targeted interventions. We provide both academic and enrichment opportunities during these hours of extra instruction. Although many of my coordinator hours are spent blending resources, writing grants, and working with local businesses- I greatly appreciate any support that benefits our school community.
