The use of a classroom rug is a constant in our classroom and anchors the entire room. Each child needs a space where they can focus and participate in the lesson. We start our day with morning circle on the rug, spend all sharing, learning, and community time there, and end our day with on the rug with closing circle. The classroom rug is more than just a learning space, it is community building space, a space where our classroom family does not just bloom, but blossoms, it is a space where tears are shed, laughter is welcome and growth happens. By donating to our project you will be helping each student have their own learning space in which they can be fully engaged in learning and with each other. Having a classroom rug will allow our classroom community to fill with laughter, love, growth, and special memories.
