I have always loved the great outdoors. To bring that into my classroom, I have created a large tent that my students can get cozy under and enjoy a good book. I am trying to develop this space with comfortable seating, blankets to snuggle into and special lighting to create the "outdoor feel." Students will be able to use the flashlights and tree cookie foam cushions during our special "Flashlight Friday" reading time. I also hope to peak my student's interest in National Parks through the assortment of games I am ordering.
Adventure awaits for my students this year, and with your help, they will get the full experience of connecting to the great outdoors. Through those connections, and these resources, I am excited to see it jump start their love for learning and a passion to explore the world around them.
