Our classroom is requesting a large carpet with neutral tones and roomy squares to accommodate each student. This carpet will be our common meeting place and will help with quick transitions from whole group work to collaborative small group and partner work. Each student will have their own defined comfy seat space. The neutral tones of this carpet will help add a sense of warmth to the classroom. By donating to our classroom project, you are helping us continue to build our classroom into a calm and flexible learning environment. The carpet will have many uses in our room. Throughout the day it will serve as a place to read, a place to build, a place to write, a place to plan, and most importantly, a place to come together as a classroom community.
