All of my students are coming from low-income households. The neighborhood in which my school is located was one of the hardest hit areas in Chicago during the pandemic. As a result, many of my students did not have the adequate support necessary to ensure successful remote learning experiences. My students, all diagnosed with ASD, ADD, and/or ADHD, are re-learning how to 'be' in a classroom, and providing them with a project-based, adaptive classroom environment will assist with this transition.
About my class
