I am currently teaching 28 very special first graders with very diverse needs. My students come to my classroom on many different reading and learning levels and I want to supply them with everything necessary to succeed in school. The majority of my students are English Language Learners who bring their native languages into my classroom and enrich our environment. My group of students are in need of specific materials and items that will assist their everyday learning.
Our school is located in a high-poverty area in the city. Despite any hardships at home, all of my students come to school every morning eager to learn and grow. I want nothing more that to give them with everything they need have fun at school while staying engaged and learning every day.
