Since kindergarten is the beginning of many of my students' academic careers, I want to make learning as interesting and full of purpose as possible, so they can have the best start to their academic careers as possible and that they begin to love learning. With the help of iPads, students will be able to practice identifying letters, practice phonics skills, listen to stories, as well as math concepts, such as solving math problems, one-to-one correspondence and counting.
Having iPads will allow my students to practice these crucial concepts in hands-on, interactive, and engaging ways. Students learn in many different ways, and having technology such as iPads, will allow me to teach in yet another mode of instruction, helping to target my visual, and tactile learners who enjoy and require hands-on and visual/pictorial learning.
