My Pre-K classroom consists of 40 students split between AM and PM. The students range from 3 to 5 years old with varying levels of development. Some students are just learning to hold a pencil/crayon and exploring art and writing by making lines and scribbles. Other students are creating books with simple text or treasure maps. I have a wonderfully diverse group of students with 10 languages represented in the classroom: Spanish, Khmer, Tagalog, Farsi, Vietnamese, Cantonese, Assyrian, Urdu, Swedish and of course, English.
