As an elementary school music teacher, I know how important it is to have good activities for students to remain engaged in the learning process. In addition, I know how important it is have instruments in a music classroom for the students to practice. Also, decorating an elementary classroom makes the environment more fun. In order to have an effective learning environment for my students, I require all the supplies I have requested. The books and CD's will help me to have better activities and songs for my students to learn musical concepts. For example, I can use different songs in the books to teach rhythm, beat, dynamics, etc. In addition, the classroom decorations and the borders will help me to create a more fun environment for my elementary students to learn. No student want to learn in a dull looking environment. Colorful posters, borders and other decorations bring a classroom to life. Moreover, the instruments will allow my students to be more hands-on with learning music. Some of my students require hands-on activities in order to master musical concepts, making it important for me to have the instruments that I have requested.
