The deluxe teacher's learning center that I would like for my classroom would facilitate overall better learning and enhance my teaching. The white board would be used for sight word and vocabulary learning as well as math skills. I frequently use anchor charts in my class and would display them on this. I lack sufficient storage in my classroom and would definitely utilize the storage that this has.
I frequently use magnetic letters and numbers on an individual basis with the students as we work on their spelling and math skills. Having the magnetic surface of the board would make this task a fun activity for the students. The portability of the board makes it useful as I use learning stations in my class and could move it to different stations as the need arose. Reading aloud and working on our language skills would be enhanced by the big book display feature.
