My journey with teaching special education in Camden is making another change. After teaching students with autism k-2 for the past 4 years, I have now switched roles. This school year I am in a different school and serving as the special education teacher for a preschool disabled class. The change is a different grade level then I previously taught and therefore a new curriculum and needs. I would appreciate any help in providing resources to our youngest students. Teaching in a high poverty area can be more challenging at times but also more rewarding. I just want to help provide my students with the resources they need so they can be successful.
