Hello! My name is Mrs. Peeler. I teach six grade reading, at a small rural title one school. We have very limited technology and resources for differentiation within the classroom, but we have students who are very eager to learn and have huge dreams for their future endeavors. I joined Donors Choose, in hopes to obtain supplies to engage my students in ways that connect the current generation.
I teach 5 periods a day, with each class having lexile levels with great variation. I hope to obtain materials, that will allow me to create lessons that cater to the different ability levels, instead of using just the textbook in my classroom. Our current textbook is fabulous, if you are at grade level, but it fails to address those students who are below or above grade level.
I hope you will check out my current project, and consider donating. I am certain that my students in room 614 will greatly appreciate any help!
