My students are charmingly, active, and always on the move. Our classroom is comprised of 100% ELL students' who speak mostly Spanish at home. They have exceptional language skills, but are simultaneously processing directions and information in two languages. The more explicit, direct, and easy to follow activities are, the more successful their learning will be. Our school culture demonstrates respect, integrity, and enthusiasm for learning and achieving. Many of my students come from households where English is not the primary language, and their parents may not be literate in English or Spanish.This can be a disadvantage for students, as they may not be getting academic support from their families. The more I can provide students with exposure to developmentally appropriate reading and writing
