My students are five to six years old. I have a mix of emerging and advanced readers. They are working on a variety of skills including phonemic awareness, fluency, comprehension and many more. Our school is family and academically focused and many families have both parents working. Some parents are unable to read nightly at home. Having more exposure to books would help my struggling readers.
