My students need access to sturdy materials that will allows them to interact with light and sensory materials in a safe way. These light cubes make the light effects accessible from all angles so that students of all mobilities will be able to explore together. The sensory tray provides visual, and tactile stimulation and vibration, adding another layer of engagement possibilities.
We can uses these materials to increase engagement across the curriculum and create better access for learners of all ability levels. We will use them during science to see inside materials, block play, math, and even literacy. We can hide letters in sand in the sensory light tray or build letters that we learn in our handwriting program!
