I have 17 brilliant and talented African-American and Hispanic students in my class. They are always eager and excited to learn. I had the privilege of looping with half of them from 1st grade. It has been amazing to watch them grow. Not only do I want them to become better readers, but I want them to LOVE to read as well. I also want them to be excited about their education and their future.
