My students need games and activities that focus on the sight word recognition, and building words to assist in their ability to read fluently and to build comprehension. My students will use these materials to explore their ability through building reading automaticity, making letters and sounds, and then words! These activities will be used during pull out times with my Special Education students. They will be able to use these games to become stronger readers. They will be able to learn to read and recognize sight words which will aid in their fluency while reading. Your generous donation to our project will improve my Special Education classroom by building stronger readers. This will change our students' lives for the better. They will love school and feel success --- having fun while learning!
"The importance of sight word study /recognition. A child's ability to decode words is a very important part of becoming a fluent reader.
